Yang Lei简介：
Yang Lei，现任就职于南非威特沃特斯兰德大学（University of Witwatersrand）。2007-2011年就读于北京大学，2011年获物理和数学双学士学位。2011-2016年在英国达拉谟大学（Durham University）做研究生，师从Simon Ross教授，2016年获数学物理博士学位。2016-2017年在中国科学院理论物理研究生做博士后研究。主要研究方向是黑洞物理、弦论、AdS/CFT等高能物理领域。在Phys.Rev.D、JHEP等著名国际刊物发表多篇学术论文，在各种国际会议和研讨会做过报告10多次。
报告内容：
Holography and wormhole Thanos wiped out half of the living creatures by snapping of hhis fingers. Avengers created a timemachine to reverse everything happend. In reality, building a timemachine requires knowledge of quantum gravity.In this talk, I will give a brief introduction to the idea of holography, which is the fundamental principle of a theory of quantum gravity. I will give a short voyage towards the relation between holography and its potential relation to quantum information theory developped in recent years. At the end, I will also explain how to construct a wormhole through holography, and why people believe it can be used to build a timemachine.
